Announcements

For the past few years, we were unable to accept Year 7 applications from the general public as the very limited vacancies were only reserved for siblings of our current students. This year the situation is a little bit different —  we received very few enquiries and/or applications from the siblings of our current students. As such, we anticipate that we might have some extra vacancies that would allow us to accept applications for Year 7 from the wider community.

Therefore, we are pleased to announce that we welcome children born in 2003 (currently in Year 6, or Grade 5 in the 12-year system) to apply for Year 7 (first year of the Middle Years Programme) commencing in August 2014.

Applications can be filed directly online at www.renaissance.edu.hk/content/applications.

We appreciate your continued support. Should you have any questions, please contact the Admissions Office at admissions@rchk.edu.hk.

We would like to invite any interested Years 5 and Year 6 girls and their mothers to a session about puberty and the issues involved in starting menstruation. We recommend that mothers and daughters attend this session together, as it provides a good starting point for conversations about the changes and developments that girls go through, as well as giving useful and practical information.

We would generally recommend that daughters and mothers attend these sessions, but we are aware that sometimes it is fathers who will be able to attend.   Please contact us if this is the case.

This session will be run by Mrs. Jackie Simpson, who is a qualified health professional with a company called First Aid Plus.  Mrs. Simpson has been working with RCHK for a number of years and is familiar with our students and teachers.

The talk will take place on April 30 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm in the PAC.
