Over the past eighteen months we have implemented a number of digital services, systems and resources at Renaissance College. Students and staff have excellent access to a number of digital tools including laptops, digital cameras, electronic whiteboards, Internet and network services. In January 2007 the college established an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) to support and develop safe and acceptable practices when using technology. However, the development of new services, technologies and various 'end-user' issues recorded over the past 18 months have provided the basis for review and amendments to the current AUP. It is important that these changes are reflective of current practices and communicated to all staff, students, parent and guardians. For more details please see the document below. The changes made to the AUP have directly impacted on the Acceptable Use Agreements signed by students last year. Thus the agreements have also been reviewed and modified. In light of these changes all students will be expected to complete and return a new agreement. This is a timely exercise as a significant number of new students have joined the college in the past 6 months. Please support your child/children and ensure that they return their agreement in full.
