Please read the Admissions Policy, Admissions Procedures and Admissions Schedule carefully to avoid any omission that might delay your application. 

 

ONLINE APPLICATION

The online application will take approximately 30-40 minutes to complete; the system will automatically log you out if it is idle for 60 minutes. All unsaved data will be lost. Please allow yourself enough time to familiarize with all of the instructions before you start.

Once your application has been submitted, you will not be able to change or view your application data online. Applicants are strongly advised to check their application data carefully and keep a record of their application data before submitting their application.

Applicants are also required to submit certain documents to support their application, together with the completed Online Application Form (see Step 4). These documents cannot be submitted online. Please post /deliver it to the Admissions Office within 5 working days after you submit your application online.

An application will be processed ONLY when all documents and payment are received.

After your online application has been successfully submitted, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail with a unique 12-digit Application Reference Number. Please make sure your e-mail account will not block correspondence from Renaissance College.

If you are not sure that your application was successfully submitted, it is your responsibility to contact the Renaissance College to ensure that your application was received.

You are required to quote the Application Reference Number and the applicant’s full name in all future correspondence with the Admissions Office.

Please email the Admissions Office as soon as possible should there be any changes in personal particulars after your application has been submitted.

Please note: If you experience difficulties using the 'online' application form, you may send request via email to admissions@renaissance.edu.hk with the subject REQUEST FOR RENAISSANCE COLLEGE APPLICATION FORM and a copy of the RC application form will be sent to you.


NOTE: The online application system is scheduled to perform regular system maintenance every Sunday from 3am to 3:30am Hong Kong time. During this time, the online application forms will not be available. Please note that the system is best viewed with Microsoft Internet Explorer v7 or v8 and Firefox v3.6 with the browser's security settings at or below default levels to access this online system. 

 

STEPS TO SUBMIT AN ONLINE APPLICATION

Step 1: Complete Online Application Form
Step 2: Upload applicant’s photograph
Step 3: Verify application data and submit the application
Step 4: Print your completed Online Application and post / deliver it to the Admissions Office with you *supporting documents within five working days
Step 5: Choice of payment 
Step 6: Receive acknowledge e-mail within 24-hours

 

*SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

    1. A print out copy of the online application form as instructed.

    2. A copy of the applicant’s birth certificate and passport / HKID. Applicants with a dependent or student visa should enclose a copy of the relevant page

    3. Copies of parents’  or guardians’ HKID or the valid document that shows their right of abode in HK

    4. A photograph of the applicant

    5. Copies of School Report and Reference Letter:

      • Applicants for Year 1: Copy of the previous year’s kindergarten report 

      • Applicants for Years 2 – 9: Copy of the two previous years’ school reports 

      • Applicants for Years 10– 11: Copy of the two previous years’ school reports, plus one reference letter from current school or teacher

      • Applicants for Year 12: Copy of the two previous years’ school reports, plus
        --Supporting documents e.g. certificates of achievement, awards, team involvement
        --Two reference letters from current school or teacher
        --Copies of public examination results if eligible or a record of predicted grades for
            IGCSE / HKCEE from the applicant’s current school

    6. Proof of Hong Kong address e.g. personalized copy of bank statement or utilities bill

    7. Any special needs reports, if indicated in the application form

 

Please note that the application form that you are about to submit is only valid for the duration of your chosen academic year.

We wish to inform those seeking a Year 7 placement (2011-2012) that there is unlikely to be any vacancies due to the current Year 6 cohort continuing their transition to the secondary school.
Should any vacancies occur then the website will reflect this situation.
