RAPT
About Us
Welcome to the home page of the Renaissance Association of Parents and Teachers Limited (RAPT). RAPT exists as a volunteer body to bring together parents of students, and the teaching and support staff of Renaissance College, in a positive and productive way. It enjoys a close relationship with the principal and college management.
Parent members are elected annually at the annual general meeting which is held in October. Teacher representatives are elected annually by the teaching community.
The RAPT Committee meets monthly at the college. Public meetings are held periodically.
The association undertakes a wide range of activities with the intention of engaging the parent community, and also raises money to fund appropriate college projects and pursuits.
Mission Statement
The committee and members of the Renaissance Association of Parents and Teachers Limited will support Renaissance College as it strives to build a culture which promotes peace and democracy, values diversity and works towards a sustainable future for all.
