Joyful Fruit Day 2012

The RCHK Joyful Fruit Day 2012 will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2012.  This year the theme is "Fruit, we Like!"  A fruit party will be launched during lunch time (from 11:30am to 2:00pm) in the covered playground.  All teachers, students and staff are invited to eat fruits together on this day in a cheerful and full-filled atmosphere, and they will have the opportunity to taste a variety of fruits in many interesting ways.

Other activities include:

Fruit Tasting: Mini Fruit tarts, pancake served with fresh fruits, banana tarts, mango pudding, fresh fruit salad, yogurt drink and fresh fruit juices etc... (All these delicious food and drink will be prepared by parent volunteers, secondary students and Chartwells)

Fruit Houses: All primary and secondary students are requested to bring in one piece of fruit (please do not cut or wash the fruit) on April 24 or 25 to the undercover area to support their houses. The fruits will be collected and counted, and see which house will get the most fruits for this event. Fruits that are brought in will be used in a recipe for sharing with the community at the Fruit Party.

Games: There will be exciting games run by secondary students and the focus will be on fruits. Primary students can earn house points when they play the games.

Parent Volunteers for Joyful Fruit Day: We would like to invite parents to join us to prepare the food for Joyful Fruit Day, we need parent volunteers to help out for a few hours on April 24 and 25 from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. We also need parents to prepare fruits, mini-fruit tarts, pancakes or manning the food stalls. Come to make some new friends and have fun.
