Once you have walked through The Red Door, you have entered a place where we can help you mould, enhance and nurture your creative and artistic visions.
We are here to not only provide technical support and knowledge, but to also mentor you and your ideas as well. We want you to feel comfortable asking questions, to not be intimidated by the tools at your disposal, and most of all we want to ignite the creative juices that flow within all of you.
OUR SERVICES
Planning
- Work with teachers during the planning of units.
- Select appropriate digital tools and resources.
- Plan and organize resources, time frames and workshops.
- Create and locate suitable resources for teachers and students.
In Class Support
- Work with small groups of students to develop core skills and knowledge about digital tools.
- Develop efficient and effective knowledge transfer practices using a "train the trainer" model.
Professional Learning
- Provide workshops for students, staff and parents.
- Conduct software research and reviews, and share these findings with curriculum leaders and coordinators.
- Promote sharing of online resources.
Marketing and Communication
- Work with communications manager and teachers to market and communicate initiatives.
Jason Dufty
I have worked in multi-disciplinary design for over a decade in the UK and New Zealand. I believe that great design stems from great ideas. I can impart specialised knowledge to teachers and students and help them formulate their creative urges into a disciplined thought process, allowing them to transform their vision into reality.
Jørgen Mortensen
I worked as an educator in film and television and as a project manager for media culture at the MKZ Dresden e.V. Here I implemented video courses, managed two television formats for local television, developed and managed video projects for school classes and organized summer film camps for children and filmmakers.
