Jason Dufty

Learning Technology Assistant
Kia Ora! I have worked in multi-disciplinary design for over a decade in the UK and New Zealand. My core belief is that great design stems from great ideas so I seek to push boundaries in an effort to produce fresh responses to old design problems. My philosophy has been not to impose design trends but to provide unique solutions ideally suited to a particular project. I am always looking at new design challenges and believe that I still have plenty of knowledge to impart and share with others and I am extremely excited to be working with so many fantastic, dedicated people. If I have any time left over from playing and learning from my wee daughter Billie, I might put a few licks of oil paint to canvas while dancing to The Pixies or try and catch a snapper off Sai Kung bigger than a fish finger in complete silence.

Noah Katz

Learning Technology Assistant
I’m from the first capital of the United States, Philadelphia. After finishing university with a BFA I moved to Salt Lake City where I spent 8 years as the technical art director for an experimental digital printing company. Needing a break from the industry I moved to Italy where I taught English. Then it was off to Denmark where I taught ceramics and computer graphics. For the last five years I was director of the Digital Arts department at an international children's art center. During that time I worked with children ages 3-18 and introduced them to creative uses of technology. From film making, animation, 3d modeling, interactive programing, robotics and graphic design we tried it all. My goal is to inspire children to see technology as a tool for creative expression and how to incorporate the use of technology into the creative process. I am looking forward to sharing and learning with the Renaissance community.

I’m originally from B.C., Canada. I spent most of my childhood in and around the water and mountains. I've been an instructor and traveled all over Asia and beyond for 15 years. I've been in Hong Kong for a long time. I live close to the water and the mountains so it feels like home, though much hotter. Last year I joined the amazing team at RCHK as Aquatics Supervisor.I love the role and am always growing (unfortunately not taller) and learning something new each day.See you at the pool soon!

Tim Tung

Assistant Digital Manager
I like to be known as a good problem-solver. I often find myself being given some strange problem and being able to think through the most likely reasons, and often being right about my hunches. Problems, in fact, motivate me, remain in my head for days and nights if I can't find a reasonable explanation. Perhaps I would have become a detective if computers didn't guide me on my current path... I give generously of my time and experience to others. And I apply all of my years of professional experience and learning from my past mistakes, trying hard not to repeat them.
